The Naphtali Tribe

Naphtali was the son of Jacob, a great patriarch of the Old Testament. Naphtali was a great warrior and always a warrior. The tribe known after him inherited his valour. They were determined to conquer and therefore plunged into the thickest of the battle. They never stood for a shameful and servile life.  When they saw the enemies come not up to the high battle field, they marched down to the valley to meet them. They believed that offence is valour and defense is cowardice. So they were blessed with an earlier rich harvest than their brother tribes.
