Failure after failure
causes us to give up the vision. It is our failure to fulfill the vision. We
started well, run well; but failed a thousand times.
The reason for our failure
may be:
·
Discouragement,
·
Disloyal team,
·
Financial challenges,
·
Physical problems,
·
Rising responsibility – family,
·
Ageing problems.
But hold on. Hold on as
you go to the dungeon
No Night will be longer
than 12 hours
Every night is followed by
sunshine
It is the unchanging law
of nature
“If Winter comes, can
Spring be far behind”? (Shelly, the 19th c. poet in his Ode to the West Wind)
Let me share someone's life history with you.
· This was
man who failed in business at the age of 21
· Defeated
in an election to legislative assembly
at age 22
· Once again
failed in business at age 24
· His
sweetheart died at age 26
· He had a
nervous breakdown at age 27
· He lost at
congressional election at age 34
· He lost at
senatorial election at age 45
· Again
failed in an effort to become vice-president of the country at age 47
· He lost a
senatorial election at age 49
· But was
elected president of the United States at age 52.
This man was Abraham Lincoln.
Here is the story of another great success - the story
of KFC
At the age of 40, in the midst of the depression, Harland Sanders
opens his first restaurant in the small front room of a gas station in North
Corbin, Kentucky.
At 46 years old, Sanders was honoured with Knighthood as Kentucky
Colonel by the Kentucky Governor Ruby Laffoon, in recognition of his
contributions to the state’s cuisine.
At 47 as business grew , Sanders expanded and relocated his
restaurant to 142 seats, and added a motel he bought across the street.
At 49, fire destroys The Sanders Court & Café, but it is
rebuilt and reopened.
At 50 Sanders created his well-known “Original Recipe.”
At 65, a great loss in business, forcing Sanders to retire and
sell his restaurant and after paying debts owed, he is virtually become broke
only with his social security check of about $105
At 70 there were over 600 franchised locations in the U.S. and
Canada selling the delectable chicken.
At 74 Sanders sells his interest in the U.S. company for $2
million to a group of investors
Night is not an inactive
period. At night too we are in search for a team.
Early in the next morning
you are going to meet your perfect team. It is getting ready throughout the
night.
We started well. We got
our vision well. We shared it with our immediate friends and relatives
We sought help. But they
failed. So let us move away in search of your team.
Do not compromise our
vision.
Success is not a gift of
luck; it is the reward for long suffering and perseverance. ©
Remember, next morning you
are going to meet your success team. It is just around this night. It is only a
matter of few hours.
Break up and move on.
Break up and move on are
the two important actions we should do at a failure
Disassociate.
Move away.
